On the morning of December 16, 2021, the inaugural meeting of Shanghai Polyurethane Industry Association Additives Professional Committee was held in Shanghai Qiguang Group. President Wei Jianhua, Vice President Zhang Qiming, Vice President Zhang Wenkai, Secretary General Xu Guoqing, Deputy Secretary General Zhang Songtao and other leaders of the Association, as well as all members of the Professional Committee of Additives and relevant staff, a total of 26 representatives attended the inaugural meeting. Zhao Zhenglin, director of the Office of the Specialized Committee on Additives, presided over the meeting.
After Secretary General Xu Guoqing read out the Decision of the Third Session of the Council on the Establishment of the Shanghai Polyurethane Industry Association’s Professional Committee on Additives, President Wei Jianhua and newly elected Director Zhang Qiming of the Professional Committee on Additives jointly unveiled the plaque, announcing the official establishment of the Professional Committee on Additives.
Zhang Songtao, Deputy Secretary General, read out the list of members of the Auxiliaries Professional Committee and the list of sponsoring units. Association leaders present at the meeting issued appointment letters for members and office staff, and commemorative plaques for the sponsoring units.
Zhang Qiming, director of the Professional Committee on Additives, delivered an inaugural speech at the inaugural meeting. He expressed his gratitude to the association leaders and colleagues for their trust and support. He himself will do his best to work with the committee members to commit to the technological progress and innovative development of polyurethane auxiliaries, promote the connection and collaboration among auxiliary manufacturers, and provide better services for downstream application enterprises.
At the inaugural meeting, Zhang Qiming, director of the Professional Committee of Additives and chairman of Shanghai Qiguang Group, introduced the company’s development history, new product development, and publicized its future development plan.
Finally, President Wei Jianhua spoke and interacted with the delegates to have a lively discussion on the future development of the Auxiliaries Professional Committee and its work arrangements and ideas. The delegates believed that “small additives, big contribution”, the establishment of the Professional Committee on Additives shows that the industry is paying more and more attention to the development of additives, but also allows a better and broader platform for information exchange between polyurethane additives manufacturers. Through this platform, each member of the committee to achieve information sharing, through joint research to overcome technical problems in the industry, to achieve a win-win situation, and jointly promote the technical progress and green and sustainable development of the polyurethane additives industry.
