Amine catalyst SMP is a special delay catalyst for low-density sponges or moldings. It can increase foam hardness. It is especially suitable for sponges with a density in the range of 6-25kg/m3 and can increase foam hardness by 5-10%
Since the amine catalyst SMP can increase the hardness of the sponge, if you want to maintain the same hardness, you can reduce the isocyanate index by about 2-3 points, which is very cost-effective from an economic point of view
Whether in the MC formula or the formula with fillers (CaCO3 and melamine), the amine catalyst SMP can improve the processability of the sponge and reduce cracking.
Purpose:
Amine catalyst SMP is widely used in flexible slabstock foams and thermosetting molding;
Recommended dosage: 0.15-0.2%
