Physical and chemical properties:
Dimethylcyclohexylamine is a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid at room temperature, soluble in alcohol and ether solvents, but insoluble in water. Dimethylcyclohexylamine is a strongly alkaline tertiary amine compound. The color will become darker after being stored for a long time, but it will not affect its chemical activity.

Features and uses:
The main use of dimethylcyclohexylamine is as a catalyst for rigid polyurethane foam and has a wide range of uses. In addition, it can also be used as a stabilizer for fuel oil, mainly formed by frying. It is a stable additive for petroleum fractions at 150-480℃; used as a raw material for medicine and pesticides, and used as a bactericide, disinfectant, and leveling agent. and antistatic agents, etc.
Dimethylcyclohexylamine is a low-viscosity, moderately active amine catalyst used for refrigerator rigid foam, boards, spray coating, and on-site infusion of polyurethane rigid foam. This catalyst has a catalytic effect on both gelation and foaming. It provides a relatively balanced catalytic performance for the foaming reaction and gelation reaction of hard foam. It has a stronger catalytic effect on the reaction between water and isocyanate (foaming reaction), and at the same time The reaction between polyol and isocyanate also has moderate catalytic activity, and it is a strong initial catalyst for the foam reaction. In addition to being used for hard foam, it can also be used as an auxiliary catalyst for molding soft foam and hard foam.
Dimethylcyclohexylamine can be used as a sole catalyst, but is generally used in combination with other catalysts. Depending on the reaction speed and foam physical properties, the dosage of dimethylcyclohexylamine per 100 parts of polyether polyol is between 0.5-3.5 parts.
Storage:
It is recommended that dimethylcyclohexylamine be stored in a dry and cool area with proper ventilation. Please fasten the packaging cover as soon as possible after the original packaging to prevent moisture and other substances from being mixed in and affecting product performance.
