Huntsman Group, one of the world’s largest chemical companies, recently announced that its Huntsman Shanghai campus located in Shanghai Minhang Economic and Technological Development Zone has been officially put into operation.
In order to greatly enhance the cooperation and synergy between various business departments, Huntsman gathered all its employees in Shanghai into Huntsman’s Shanghai campus, thereby significantly improving Huntsman’s Mai’s innovative capabilities and service quality. Huntsman’s Shanghai campus covers an area of 40,000 square meters, and Huntsman’s Asia Pacific R&D Center is located within it. Huntsman Asia Pacific R&D Center was put into operation in 2008 and has industry-leading laboratories, machine rooms, analytical testing centers, training facilities, and administrative offices for sales, marketing and other functional departments. The system factory of the Polyurethane Division, which was opened in 1996, is also located in Huntsman’s Shanghai campus.

Huntsman currently has 1,400 employees in China, with sales exceeding US$1 billion, accounting for more than 10% of Huntsman’s global sales. China is Huntsman’s largest market after the United States.
